With the changing landscape of higher education and a shift to a hybrid workforce, organizations within Cornell University are evaluating how they deploy staff resources to meet the changing needs of students and faculty through an organizational redesign. Two organizations within Cornell, Organizational Development and Effectiveness (ODE) and Workforce Planning and Compensation (WPC), have partnered to develop an organizational design framework blueprint to lead the university’s efforts to work with teams to discover new ways of working. Join us to see how the framework supports college and unit leaders in their efforts to streamline their structure, improve processes, understand skills gaps, and engage employees in meaningful ways to meet organizational and individual needs.
